John and Suzi Peachey
John and Suzi Peachey, together with their four children, started Orphans Know More. They have more than 25 years experience in the charity sector involved in leadership training and development. Both lived and worked in East Africa on various development projects including leading a team of British and East African educators and administrators starting a secondary school for the Maasai. Suzi’s degree is in education and she taught for five years in Jersey and London. John completed a post graduate diploma in Research Methods in Education at the University of Surrey and is working part time on a PhD in Education at the Oxford Centre for Mission Studies and Middlesex University.

Sharon and John Mansour

Sharon and John are married with 3 children and have a passion for business development.  Sharon has a background in Pediatric nursing and development and John’s experience extends from business, NGO management and social entrepreneurship!  Sharon was a part of the team that helped to pioneer Orphans Know More and recently joined the advisory board along with John. Both are currently working full time at YWAM Harpenden and are able to engage with projects in Uganda on a more regular basis.  Both are firm believers that family is the best place for children to grow up and enjoy engaging with others to make this possible for the children of Orphans Know More.

Angela and Quintin Lake

Quintin & Angela Lake live outside Wigan and are parents to three girls. They run a small business, helping companies tackle the challenge of modern slavery and labour exploitation in their supply chains. Quintin was part of the team that founded Orphans Know More and has been privileged to watch it transform families in Uganda over the past eleven years. Both are committed to seeing good business and education empower individuals to fulfil their potential.

Eunice and Alastair Rawlinson

Eunice and Alastair are married with two children in their 20’s and live in Harpenden. They are members of St Nicholas’ church. Eunice is an accountant and has helped with the bookkeeping and preparation of accounts for OKM since its formation in 2005. Alastair has recently retired from working with a Private Bank in the City and joined the OKM Advisory Board in 2011. They are both committed to the vision of OKM and see real value in the work it does for orphans in Uganda.

Paula and Richard Blackwell

Paula and Richard and their two sons committed to make OKM happen from the very start.  Paula’s gifts in creating events and her wide network of friends has kept OKM highly relational with a generous dose of celebration! As a senior partner in one of the large accountancy firms, Richard brings his experience in governance and finance to the board.  Both have enjoyed working together to alleviate poverty, assisting our incredible African families care for children.
